ProAmpac: fibre in the spotlight
ProAmpac launches new recyclable fibre technology for high barrier thermoforming applications
Leading flexible packaging and materials science company ProAmpac has launched its latest sustainable technology in Europe: ProActive Recyclable FibreSculpt. This 90% fibre solution is designed for thermoforming applications on a range of products, including chilled cooked meats, deli meats, cheese slices and fish.
There are four key features of this new offering:
- Lightness (reduced packaging compared with flexible, rigid or semi-rigid thermoformed alternatives).
- Optimum operational efficiency (maintaining the speed of the thermoforming line, higher output per roll, reduced changeover times on the filling line).
- On-shelf appeal (premium feel and natural presence).
- Excellent grease resistance for optimum on-shelf appearance.
