Untangling the facts from the fiction concerning the new European regulations on packaging management (PPWR): that is the objective of the new webinar organised on 29 April by ALLFORPACK EMBALLAGE PARIS

Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation: this is the full wording of this famous regulation that is sowing doubt (and sometimes panic) among all those involved in the world of packaging. Adopted last December by the European Council, the latter is intended to revolutionise packaging practices, at the end of an adaptation phase that ends in June 2026.

But between rumours and misinterpretations, it is sometimes difficult to sort things out and to disentangle the true from the false concerning the real implications of this famous PPWR.

That is why ALLFORPACK EMBALLAGE PARIS has organised a webinar especially dedicated to the subject, which will be held on 29 April 2025 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.. The registration link is available here. Hosted by Claire Dollez, together with Chantal de Lamotte, director of the show, this webinar will feature Lise Nicolas and Enzo Muttini, co-founders of the environmental engineering consultancy Mme & M. Recyclage, as its main expert guests. As expert engineers on the subject of recycling but above all as experienced educators on the subject, there is no doubt that they will help you to see things more clearly!

You can now register for this webinar free of charge via this link.

And while you’re waiting for 29 April, get to know Enzo Muttini, the Mr of Mrs & Mr Recycling.

How did Mrs & Mr Recycling come about?

We are both engineers and we started working together in Taiwan for an architecture and design company that used recycled materials. That’s where we developed a portable recycling line that is self-sufficient in energy and water, under the code name Trashpresso. We went everywhere with the machine to raise awareness and explain how to manage waste. When we returned to France, we decided to set up a design office/consultancy with the aim of sharing knowledge, inspired by what we had managed to do in Asia. Today, we make our expertise available on the topics of recycling, reuse and waste reduction, whether for public actors or for companies of all sizes and from all sectors. For them, we create recycling channels, conduct studies, write technical guides, provide customised training, etc. We also publish videos, computer graphics and guides, which are available for free access.

Why a webinar on PPWR?

To understand! Of course, if you’ve already read the 120 pages of the regulations and followed all the LinkedIn posts about developments for the last two years, you’ll already have understood! But it’s not easy to keep up to date, because these are regulations that have been lobbied a lot and many things have changed. So if you really want to know the latest regulatory constraints, the latest objectives and the implementing decrees that will be validated in the next 2, 3, 4, 5 years, if you want to be sure whether or not to include a particular objective, constraint or prohibition, it’s best to participate in this webinar to understand and be able to make an informed decision.

Our objective is really to translate this text into a more accessible, less legal language, and this on each of the themes that we have identified: recyclability, bioplastics, reuse, deposits, etc.

Compliance issues are also essential, particularly for labelling.
