Lactips expands its paper coating range
Lactips launches CareTips PFP344MAX to meet the need for an economical, sustainable and high-performance alternative solution for paper coating
The need for packaging solutions with strong sealability but without a grease barrier function: this is what led Lactips to develop its new CareTips PFP344MAX sealing grade, intended for the packaging of inert products and dry food as well as for secondary packaging.
‘100% bio-based, recyclable and home compostable, and free of PFAs, CareTips PFP344MAX reduces the environmental footprint while guaranteeing food safety and compliance with health standards. Easy to use, this new grade is available in ready-to-dissolve granules suitable for industrial processing,’ says Lactips, a pioneer in the world of natural polymers and exhibitor at ALLFORPACK EMBALLAGE PARIS.
Development in sight
The launch of CareTips PFP344MAX is part of the development strategy of a company founded in 2014 and which now has around 50 employees. Last November, Lactips announced that it had raised 16 million euros, intended to accelerate the international expansion and commercial development of its 100% bio-based, water-soluble and biodegradable natural polymer in various environments.
