Brodart Packaging expands its territory
The acquisition of the Richard-Laleu Group will enable Brodart Packaging to strengthen its position in the cheese packaging market.
At the beginning of February, the Brodart Packaging Group confirmed its acquisition of the Richard-Laleu Group. This acquisition not only enables the group to take over the activities of this historic specialist in the manufacture of cheese packaging based in Iteuil (Vienne), but also those of its subsidiary Polykote, based in Gournay-en-Bray (Seine-Maritime) and specialising in technical films for industry.
A key player
“This strategic decision strengthens our position in the French cheese market, and gives us access to new countries where we were not yet positioned. It will make us a key player in the packaging of soft cheeses worldwide,” says the group in the press release accompanying the announcement. “We will be able to benefit from significant synergies and a complete industrial back-up. We look forward to working together to ensure the success of this transition,” adds Sébastien Brodart, Managing Director of a group that now has nearly 450 employees and sales of over €87 million.
